COVID-19 update

It is essential that you check the latest Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advice for your destination before you travel. Our travel insurance policies do not provide cover for travel to an area where the FCDO advises against all or all but essential travel.

You will need to purchase an Enhanced COVID-19 Add On to cover you for travelling to countries in Europe against FCDO advice (if that advice relates solely to COVID-191)

Stay up to date with the latest travel advice on the FCDO website. Please continue to check our FAQ's regularly.

However, you will only be covered for treatment as a result of taking part in winter sports activities and loss or damage to your equipment if you purchase this add on. The level you get depends on the core cover you have selected. For more information on our core cover, which covers things like emergency medical expenses, personal belongings and cancellations, please see our core cover page.
