Home Emergency cover
Cover from only £24.99 a year, or £54.99 a year including boiler cover
Have you ever thought about what you would do if your heating stopped working in the middle of winter, or if you suffered a burst water pipe? RAC Home Emergency Cover gives you that peace of mind, so you know there will be a tradesman on hand to carry out emergency temporary repairs.
- Emergency repairs up to £500 per claim, including contractors call out charges, labour, parts and materials
- Emergency situations covered include:
- Bursting or sudden leakage of pipes
- Break-in or vandalism
- Removal of pest infestation including wasps nests, mice or rats
- Excludes the cost of putting right any damage caused by the emergency (usually covered by contents insurance)
- Alternative accommodation costs up to £250 in total
Cover to include additional boiler:
- Covers complete failure of a gas central heating system under 15 years old, up to a maximum £500 per claim
