Making a change to your policy FAQs

Here’s what you can do through your online account, which is available 24/7:
- Change the vehicle you’re insuring
- Change whether your insurance is for business or personal use
- Change your personal details, such as your name, date of birth, occupation or contact details
- Change which drivers are on your policy
- Accept your renewal
- Upload and download documents, including proof of no claims discount (NCD)
- Settle your outstanding balance
- Update your auto-renewal and document preference
To make a change to your insurance cover, log in to your online account and select ‘make a change’. From here you can choose the date you’d like to make the change from, and the type of change. Changes to your policy can be processed and paid for online in a few minutes.
The quickest and easiest way to make a change to your policy is via your online account.
A £25.00 admin fee will apply for changes made online. A £35.00 admin fee will apply for changes made via the call centre.
You can change your vehicle registration number online. Log in to your online account, select ‘make a change’ on the policy overview page, then select ‘your van’. On the quote page, select update vehicle details to change the registration plate on your existing vehicle. To change the van you’re insuring, select the ‘change current van’ option.
You can change the address on your policy by logging in to your online account. Once logged in, select ‘make a change’ on the policy overview page and then ‘your details’.
If your policy is due for renewal, you won't be able to change it online so please call to speak to one of our team.
Anyone who drives your vehicle should be named on the policy. You can add a driver to your policy through your online account. Once logged in, select ‘make a change’ on the policy overview page, then select ‘additional drivers’.
