PD Vehicle Services Ltd was formed in 2011 by Pep and Dan, two highly skilled individuals already very well established within the motor trade. Both dreamed of opening their own garage, with the aim of becoming one of the largest, most well-respected and well-equipped independent garages in the area. Since opening PD Vehicle Services, Pep and Dan have expanded the garage into what you see today; a workshop full of the latest diagnostic and testing equipment, including state of the art camera measured four wheel alignment equipment and a multi class MOT Bay that can test mopeds, motorcycles, cars, minibuses, motorhomes and 3.5t vans. With ten Ramps, including two 5.5 ton commercial ramps, two floor level flush mounted ramps for low sports cars and a dedicated diagnostic bay, PD Vehicle Services Ltd now employ ten members of staff full time, with two members reception staff and a full time driver. PD Vehicle Services are an accredited Bosch service centre having to meet stringent standards to carry the Bosch brand, we are also are an RAC Approved repairer as well as an AA Approved garage. Serving local residents with privately owned vehicles to national fleet contracts running huge fleets of vehicles for ‘household name’ companies, the workshop caters for all types of vehicle maintenance and repairs. We also carry out warranty repair work for major companies such as warranty wise, the AA, Warranty direct and the RAC. We can offer you a whilst you wait service on all servicing jobs, with a turnaround of no more than 2 hours, depending on the job. This service MUST be pre-booked as we will need to have the parts already waiting for your arrival in the garage. We have a very large and comfortable waiting room at your disposal which offers comfortable sofas, a TV with Netflix, refreshments, a work station with Wi-Fi available should you need to work. All Trans Autos was started in August 1980 by Jill and Richard. We employed our first member of staff, Tony, in 1984 and we are proud that he is still in our employment. Over the past 34 years All Trans Autos has grown and today has 15 employees, ranging from fully qualified technicians to part time office staff. Each one is a valued member of the team and provides the excellent customer service for which the company is renowned. All Trans Autos prides itself on its fantastic training program. Even after 25 years Tony is still attending training to keep up to speed with the fast moving technology in today’s cars. We have trained four apprentices over the period and currently have our fifth apprentice who is in his first year of training. The husband and wife team of Jill and Richard provides an excellent atmosphere. They work along side their staff, giving the garage that family feel. Their children all help within the company, inputting their skills where required, although only one of them works full time, as the company’s fleet manager. In 2006 All Trans Autos moved to its present location – the same year in which we became a Bosch Car Service centre. In order to become a BCS certain criteria have to be met. We offer unlimited expertise and are able to deal with most makes to dealer level. Established since 2013, our small team are dedicated to delivering you the highest levels of customer service. Our workshop is fully equipped and we cater for all makes and models of vehicles, offering our customers a comprehensive range of repairs, maintenance work, servicing and MOT’s. Owner Ian has over 47 years of experience, having started his 5 year City & Guilds apprenticeship back in the 70’s. City and Guilds qualifications are a lot more intense and labour intensive compared to the more modern qualifications available to mechanics nowadays, and we were taught how to fix and repair parts as opposed to simply replacing them, which is standard practice in most places today. I have experience working with older classic cars, alongside newer more modern ones too, and no job is too big or too small for us to take on! Most of my customers have been with me for years and know that by choosing my company to undertake works on their pride and joy, they will receive fantastic workmanship alongside a personalised service. We would never advise you doing anything to your vehicle which was unnecessary as some garages do purely for profit, priding ourselves on our honest core values. My son, who was trained in-house alongside me, has branched out into classic and vintage race cars and is fast gaining a fantastic reputation for his first-class trimming, and my eldest grandson Lewis is now working with me and is undergoing his apprenticeship too. Three more grandsons are also looking to come on board and keep this garage running with a strong family presence.
