Both dreamed of opening their own garage, with the aim of becoming one of the largest, most well-respected and well-equipped independent garages in the area. PD Vehicle Services are an accredited Bosch service centre having to meet stringent standards to carry the Bosch brand, we are also are an RAC Approved repairer as well as an AA Approved garage. Serving local residents with privately owned vehicles to national fleet contracts running huge fleets of vehicles for ‘household name’ companies, the workshop caters for all types of vehicle maintenance and repairs. We also carry out warranty repair work for major companies such as warranty wise, the AA, Warranty direct and the RAC. We can offer you a whilst you wait service on all servicing jobs, with a turnaround of no more than 2 hours, depending on the job. This service MUST be pre-booked as we will need to have the parts already waiting for your arrival in the garage. We have a very large and comfortable waiting room at your disposal which offers comfortable sofas, a TV with Netflix, refreshments, a work station with Wi-Fi available should you need to work. Owner Ian has over 47 years of experience, having started his 5 year City & Guilds apprenticeship back in the 70’s. City and Guilds qualifications are a lot more intense and labour intensive compared to the more modern qualifications available to mechanics nowadays, and we were taught how to fix and repair parts as opposed to simply replacing them, which is standard practice in most places today. I have experience working with older classic cars, alongside newer more modern ones too, and no job is too big or too small for us to take on! Most of my customers have been with me for years and know that by choosing my company to undertake works on their pride and joy, they will receive fantastic workmanship alongside a personalised service. We would never advise you doing anything to your vehicle which was unnecessary as some garages do purely for profit, priding ourselves on our honest core values.
