The Royal Automobile Club has announced the schedule for the 2024 London Motor Week – including details on the St James’s Motoring Spectacle.
The annual event showcases everything related to motoring over seven exciting days.
Throughout the week, the Club will host a variety of events and award ceremonies, culminating in the RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run on Sunday.
In 2024, London Motor Week will run from Monday 28th October, to Sunday 3rd November.
One of the highlights of the week is the St James’s Motoring Spectacular. Its a new, free-to-attend, car-themed, family-friendly street show, set right in the heart of London and taking place on Saturday 2nd November.
The Club will be closing Pall Mall to traffic all day for the event.
Throughout the day, there will be a celebration of motoring’s past, present and future.
In a statement, the Club revealed that there will be a ‘significant focus on both educational activities and how today’s carmakers are embracing sustainability’.
During the Spectacle there will be a display of current RAC vehicles there alongside models from yesteryear.
The RAC’s new SMR van, an EV Boost van and the new concept Ford Transit Custom will be in attendance for visitors to see at the event.
Pall Mall will be divided into five zones; modern design, heritage display, educational display, veteran car concourse, and RM Sotheby’s blue-riband auction.
