If your vehicle has broken down and you need breakdown assistance, then please call our dedicated breakdown centre on the number provided when your cover was arranged.

To make a claim against your RAC Warranty you'll need to take your vehicle to the supplying dealer. If you're unable to return to your supplying dealer you can book your repair at an RAC Approved Garage by clicking the link below*. Don’t forget to take your policy schedule along with you to the garage.

The dealer/garage will need to diagnose the fault and call the RAC Warranty team on 0330 100 3813, before the repair is carried out.

If you have a Platinum Plus warranty, in the event of a valid repair request we will pay up to £50 (including VAT) or 1 hour, whichever is the lower value, for diagnosis of the vehicle failure. For all other warranty cover levels (Platinum, Gold and Silver) we don't cover diagnostic/investigation costs. If your vehicle needs to be dismantled, you'll need to pay for the dismantling of the vehicle so that we can check if the problem is included in the plan. If it is, we'll also refund the dismantling costs in line with Autodata**. This is not an exclusive list of where costs may apply so please refer to your terms and conditions for full details. Costs can vary between garages. You may want to check pricing before proceeding.
