OK, so it should be pretty obvious that we are not actually launching a new fuel called Orange JuiceTM.
But imagine if we did.
How strange would it be to see a new brand at the petrol pump? Pretty remarkable, right?
In the UK the fuel market is dominated by a small number of brands. And despite cuts to fuel duty, RAC Fuel Watch data has shown time and time again that those savings are not being passed on to the consumer.
We don’t have the option to launch a new fuel and make the market more competitive. But we do believe drivers deserve fairer prices. And if cutting fuel duty just isn’t cutting it, then more needs to be done to make sure big retailers aren’t taking advantage of people at the pump.
