Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They let the site remember your actions and preferences — such as keeping you signed in or holding the contents of your basket — so you don’t have to set them again on every page.
Some cookies are first-party cookies that we set directly, while others are third-party cookies set by services we use, such as analytics and advertising providers. Cookies may be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period. Similar technologies such as pixels and local storage work in much the same way, and we refer to them all as “cookies” here.
How we group cookies
We sort cookies into three groups, and you choose which optional groups to allow using the cookie banner or the button at the bottom of this page:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work, including security and completing a purchase. These are always on and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These are off until you allow them.
- Marketing — measure our advertising and let us show you relevant ads on other platforms. These are off until you allow them.
Until you accept, analytics and marketing cookies are blocked and no measurement takes place. You can change your choice at any time, and your preference is remembered in the cookie_consent cookie.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are always active because the site cannot function properly without them.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| vehicle-history-check-session | Session management — keeps you logged in and retains your basket | Session |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Security — prevents cross-site request forgery | Session |
| cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie preferences (analytics and marketing choices) | 1 year |
Analytics & marketing cookies
With your consent, we use the third-party services below. Each only sets cookies once you have allowed the relevant group, and each provider also publishes its own privacy and cookie information.
Google Analytics 4
AnalyticsMeasures how visitors find and use the site — such as which pages are viewed and how you arrived here — so we can improve it. It does not identify you personally.

Managing cookies
You can change which optional cookies (analytics and marketing) we use at any time. Your choice is saved and applied straight away.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may affect the functionality of this site — in particular, you will not be able to complete a purchase.
