This summer, the event is celebrating ‘The Best of British’ both on and off the famous Silverstone Grand Prix circuit with incredible track action, thousands of classic cars, 3 nights of live music and delicious festival food. Plus, this year there will be even more off-track entertainment than ever before.
The event is your ticket to the best historic motorsport action this summer with a race programme that features the golden age of Formula One, Sports Cars, GT and Touring Car grids.
The action on track is no-holds-barred, wheel-to-wheel competition and you’ll get to see cars from the last 100 years of motorsport; everything from the pre-war era right the way through to cutting-edge modern motors.
The festival is jam-packed across three days. Friday is for race qualifying with the chance to see every type of race car on track before the racing gets underway into dusk on both Saturday and Sunday. The live music stage then kicks-in for the evening entertainment with some incredible chart-toppers completing the line-up. Dance the night away with family and friends to Rick Astley, Gabrielle, Sister Sledge, Bjorn Again and many more!
The Classic also boasts it’s biggest-ever ‘F1 Feast’, celebrating Formula One past and present with a showcase of the latest generation of F1 show cars and a world exclusive display featuring all seven of Lewis Hamilton’s championship winning cars.
All tickets give incredible access with the chance to talk to the drivers and race prepares in both the national and international race paddocks. It’s the only event on the calendar to get this close to the cars and teams. Grandstand seating is also included within the ticket price.
But it’s not just about what happens on track. Around Silverstone there’s so much more going on for the whole family to enjoy. There’s a free funfair, kids driving lessons, interactive gaming, passenger rides, drift demos, stunt shows and so much more.
The newly introduced “Foodie Fest” will also take centre stage featuring kitchen demos from celebrity chefs (announcement coming soon!), a Tasting Tent to sample your favourite tipples and an Artisan Market showcasing all the very best of local produce.
With their first ever pop-up shop, Diddly Squat Farm Shop will also be joining the Foodie Fest! As one of the many highlights on Amazon Prime’s widely-acclaimed show Clarkson’s Farm, they’ll be bringing a wide range of incredible branded merchandise and of course, bee juice!
Anyone who breaks down at The Classic is entitled to complimentary help from the RAC patrols on site.
There will also be a chance to see our pioneering EV Boost technology which is capable of getting out-of-charge electric cars going again as well as our All Wheels Up rapid recovery system which lets patrols tow vehicles, such as EVs, with all four wheels off the road. It’s like having a flatbed in the back of an RAC van.
