How have petrol and diesel prices in Europe changed?

Petrol and diesel prices in France vs UK

The charts above allow you to compare fuel prices in France with the UK. Historically, prices have been very similar in both countries. Between mid-2020 and mid-2021, petrol and diesel were more expensive in the UK, but since the start of 2023 it's become more expensive to fill up in France.
