Ageas chooses RAC as its legal expenses insurance partner

Ageas, one of the UK’s leading personal lines insurers, has selected the RAC to be its legal expenses insurance provider to the customers of Ageas and Rias motor, van and home insurance.
The contract follows a competitive tender process and means all Ageas Retail Limited’s customers who opt to include Legal Expenses with their policies will be provided with the RAC’s expert legal expertise from their next renewal.
Paul Evans, general manager RAC Legal Services, said: “We’re proud to have been selected by Ageas to be its sole provider of legal expenses insurance. This is a product we have invested a great deal in, and it is fantastic that Ageas’s customers now can benefit from it.
“Legal expenses cover gives drivers making non-fault motor claims and home policyholders with legal disputes support, so they don’t lose out financially and also have the peace of mind that comes from being able to get advice on a wide range of personal legal matters – including employment, property and family matters – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“The RAC is already Ageas Retail Limited’s current motor breakdown assistance provider, and we very much look forward to continuing to develop our partnership with one of the country’s leading insurers.”
Adam Clarke, Managing Director of Ageas UK’s Direct Business, said: “For our customers it’s important that we are able to offer them brilliant service where it matters with legal expenses cover that can offer them expert advice and support for unexpected issues that can arise in everyday life.
“I’m delighted that the RAC will now provide this service to our customers and that they will benefit from the RAC’s legal expertise.”
