RAC renews partnership with Mercedes-Benz Cars UK to 2028
Consumer Editor
The RAC has renewed its roadside assistance contract with Mercedes-Benz Cars UK. Through to 2028, the RAC will continue to operate a network of Mercedes-Benz branded mobile technicians, all equipped with specialist Mercedes-Benz diagnostic equipment, to support Mercedes-Benz customers wherever they are in the UK, whenever they require assistance.
All new Mercedes-Benz models come with comprehensive and complimentary UK and European roadside assistance cover for three years from the date of registration. This cover is automatically extended for a year, up to a maximum of 30 years, upon completion of a service by a Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer.
Mercedes-Benz Approved Used cars benefit from 12 months roadside assistance cover, which is again extended upon completion of a service by a Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer. The contract also extends to supporting Mercedes-Benz customers from elsewhere in Europe visiting the UK.
RAC Business CEO Dan Sparks said: “The renewal of this contract with such an iconic vehicle manufacturer is a sign of real confidence in the high level of service we deliver nationwide, seven days a week, 365 days a year. We have a strong track record with Mercedes-Benz UK and are extremely proud of the partnership we have built over the last eight years.”
Mercedes-Benz Cars UK Customer Services Director Sally Davies said: “Our customers are at the centre of everything we do, which is why we’re completely committed to keeping Mercedes-Benz customers mobile at all times.”
