New 2026 Volvo EX60: Prices, specs and details of UK's longest-range EV
Consumer Editor
The new Volvo EX60 electric SUV is set to be the longest‑range electric vehicle (EV) available in the UK when it arrives in showrooms in the summer.
With a WLTP-certified range of up to 503 miles on a charge, the top-spec EX60 P12 (which also has a whopping 671hp) pips the latest BMW iX3 with its 500-mile range boast.
That's part of the reason the new EX60 is described as one of the biggest leaps forward for the Swedish brand in decades.

It's also Volvo's first 'software-designed' vehicle, with a focus on real-world efficiency, and cell-to-body technology making the battery pack a structural component of the car.
The EX60 is either real-wheel drive or all-wheel drive depending on version, while there's also a Cross Country variant (pictured) with more rugged styling and tweaked suspension for a 20mm ride height increase.
2026 Volvo EX60: Pricing and specs
The new Volvo EX60 is priced right in the firing line of cars like the BMW iX3, Audi Q6 e-tron and the new Mercedes GLC with EQ Technology.
EX60 prices start at £56,360 for the entry-level P6 model. This is single motor, rear-wheel drive and has a power output of 369hp for a 0-62mph time of 5.9 seconds. Volvo quotes a range figure of 384 miles for this version, from an 86kWh battery pack..
Stepping up to the EX60 P10 AWD ups the price to £59,860. This features dual motors for all-wheel drive, 503hp and boasts a 0-62mph time of 4.6 seconds. Its larger 95kWh battery has a quoted range of 409 miles, too.
Topping the range is the EX60 P12 AWD. That's priced at £64,860, with power further increased to 671hp enabling a 0-62mph time of just 3.9 seconds. A vast 117kWh battery pack gives that headline range figure of 503 miles on a charge.
Speaking of charging, thanks to an 800‑volt electrical system and a 370kW peak DC charging rate for the dual-motor versions, the EX60 can recover around 211 miles of range in just ten minutes when connected to a 400kW charger.
Buyers in the UK will also receive a 10‑year battery warranty.

The interior of the EX60 features a new Google-based infotainment system with ultra-fast processors. Improved autonomous driving capabilities are also mentioned. In terms of practicality, you'll find a 523-litre boot along with a front boot (or 'frunk' that allows between 58 and 85 litres of extra space depending on version.
The EX60 is also the first Volvo to use mega‑casting, replacing numerous smaller components with a single precision‑cast section to reduce weight and improve energy use.
Together, these advances aim to shift drivers from range anxiety to what Volvo calls ‘range confidence’.
Anders Bell, Chief Technology Officer at Volvo Cars, said: “The EX60 is designed to be a gamechanger.
“With our new electric vehicle architecture, we directly address the main worries that customers have when considering a switch to a fully electric car. The result is class-leading range and fast charging speeds, marking the end of range anxiety.”
