Booking a Driving Test
Before you can take a UK Practical Driving Test you need a Provisional Driving Licence and a valid Theory Test certificate.
You can book your test with the Driving Standards Agency online, by phone or by post. Or if you’re learning with BSM the Centre Staff will be happy to help you book a test.
What you need to book a test
A valid UK Provisional Driving Licence
A Theory Test certificate number
A valid debit or credit card for payment online or over the phone (Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro and Solo cards are accepted)

Book by phone
You can book a practical test over the phone from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Book by post
If you want to book a test by post you will need to download an application form or get one from your driving instructor or your local practical test centre. Send it to:
