Have the older version (2004) of the Ford Galaxy TDi. Yesterday found the front drivers door would not open (or lock) with the key fob (all other doors open/ lock fine). The door will open/ locki f I manually put the key in the door (ie opens/ locks front door - and activates central locking) - but their seems to be some extra whirrrring going on. The front drivers door electric window has stopped working to.. though the wing mirror can still be adjusted from the door controls - and I can open/ shut all the other windows from them. Any ideas - could it be a fuse or something more serious?? :confused:

Possibly the wiring between the door and the body of car has broken or has bad connections. A bit of investigation with a multimeter should find the problem.
