I have a KA 02 with Endura engine & the electic fan is not cutting when hot.
Can anyone tell me what it might be and where I might find the offening parts.

First thing to check would be the temperature sensor that controls the fan. Can't remember if it is located on the radiator on or the thermostat housing-maybe worth getting a manual to check the location.

I think it is underneath the inlet manifold towards the right hand end of the engine, the sensor provides info to the PCM which in turn grounds out the cooling fan relay in the fuse box

Thank's for that but i was not the sensor and there are no relays in the fuse box !!!

Due to way the system works-I think you may need to get a diagnostic specialist/dealer to look at this for you.

you will have to undo the two screws securing the fuse box and drop it down as the relays are above the rows of fuses but hidden, but as previous reply due to nature of this concern it may be better diagnosed with a fault code read. Does the fan run when the A/C is on?
