I just had my first test today, and although I've held a foreign license for over 10 years I failed.
I cannot help but agree with the examiner, I had 3 serious faults (cutting corners, pedestrian crossing and meeting traffic) -- however I am disappointed in myself because it became obvious that while my ADI instructor is doing a good job, I need to do a good job as well in terms of being aware of things and generally being more alert.
In that respect, I was wondering, is there a published manual on the correct procedures to be followed or recommended while driving? Something that will carry be beyond the test and hopefully into many years of accident free driving.
