Hello, this is my first posting.
This is a question regarding the fuses in my Seat Alhambra (car was first registered January 2003); the owner's manual is far less than helpful, so I'm hoping somebody reading this can help me:

The parking sensors (vehicle is fitted with front and rear sensors) have stopped working – only a short continuous buzzing sound occurs when the ignition is switched on, so I decided to start by looking at the fuses. The owner's manual shows a 'Parking assistance' symbol as a letter 'P' with a soundwave graphic next to it, but this symbol for the parking sensors does not appear anywhere on the 'fuse card' inside the fusebox lid. I'm not keen on going to a Seat dealer because of being ripped-off by one before, hence asking the question here. Can anybody advise? Is there a separate fusebox dedicated to the parking sensors elsewhere in the car? Any assistance gratefuly received.

i two have the same problem and seat say it can be anywhere between £100.00 upto £300.00 if you find the answer can you let me know as any advise will be gratefully recieved

I would be inclined to contact Seat, (if you haven't already done so). Some manufacturers can be quite helpful.

My book only goes up to 2002 for the Alhambra so may not be accurate.
Check fascia fuse no 2 (10a) and no 32 (5a).
The control module is shown under the driver's seat. If it is there, worth checking for moisture/damage and check the terminals/plug for corrosion.

The Ford Galaxy 2000-2006 shows the module in the right hand side of the luggage compartment. Don't know if the Alhambra/Sharan are same as Galaxy on this.
