Can anyone help,repaired a fuel leak to inlet of fuel pump (mercedes 190e 2.0L aout). car started ok and will rstart ok but if left a while will take alot of turnovers b4 it will start, there is a check valve on this bango connector,it is something I have done but do not now what?? can anyone help??

just to let you all know, i had the non return valve around the wrong way...runs like a dream now
