driving on the M5 yesterday near Bristol, i spotted a poser driving a almost new white 911 Porsche with a poser private plate " 911X " when i got home, out of interest i had a look on the dvla website just to see how new it was, so i entered the details twice, both times it came back cannot find details, so was this car on false plates

Could it have been a dealer's showroom plate and that he was, or should have been on, trade plates?

why is the 911 with a private plate on seen as a "poser plate"...is every private plate therefore a poser plate?...or only if it's on a 911

Every private plate must be a poser plate; why else would anyone have one?

hiding the age of a car is ok, but anyone with a bit of nouce knows how old your car is, because at the moment white is the in colour, in 5 years time it wont be,
Irish plates are OK, you know the HDZ 56789 type, but once you start going down the route of posing, it gets a bit tacky,

its's not to hide the age of this car, or the previous half a dozen it was on...i bought it because i wanted it...and just to correct the situ...irish plates are a bit...a lot tacky and just to cover an old plate ...and very cheaply at that...
