i have a Nissan Mistral import and in the last few days its started to lose power and cut out when the engine is cold.
it starts fine and when the engine is warm its ok also if you use again later the same day it starts ok its just that initial start up it will hardly pull and just cut out 2/3 times

My guess would be that one or more of your collective cold start devices has failed. These include glowplugs, fuel enrichment, idle speed lifter and pump timing change. Also depending how you drive it could be a partially blocked fuel filter.
