1995 Renault Clio heating problem

Please can anyone tell me where the radiator bleed screw is on a 1995 Renault Clio 1.4 Auto. I have just had a new thermostat fitted and there are water related noises coming from the passenger footwell.

    Thanks

Usually a black plastic screw in the hose from the radiator. May be another in one of the heater hoses at the back of the engine.

Thanks Hometune, I could not find any plastic screws in the pipes but found one in the top of the radiator. I have bled the cooling system but I am still getting water related noises from the pipes that go to the heater matrix.
Any ideas what this could be.

    Thanks

Does yours have a tyre valve cap on or near the thermostat housing? If so this is a bleed point. If not ty this.
Remove radiator cap and fill to 'max'. Start car from cold without the cap and let it warm up on its own. Do not fit the cap at any time. Once the cooling fan on the radiator starts you can switch off and leave to cool for around 20 mins. Check the level. If it has gone down some air may have been expelled. If not start it up without the cap again and warm it up at 3,000 revs until its good and hot. Keep it revving for a few mins and then set the heater to hot and switch on the fan. Feel the temp of the air. If it stays lukewarm then the air is trapped. If it starts getting hotter and hotter then you know the air is being expelled.
If none of this works, wait till cold, then remove the top heater hose and fill it from a hosepipe. Push it back on quickly so as to not lose any water and this should fill the interior heater matrix.

    Coolant

    Thanks again Hometune, all done.
I noticed that after refilling the the cooling system I should of used "Type D" coolant but used a general Antifreeze/Summer coolant, on the bottle it sais that it is suitable for all engine types will it be ok or should I drain it and use Type D.

Once again thanks for all your help.
