Hello, i dont know if you could help me. My 32 years old misses has just passed her test, and we are looking for a car to buy for our family, we have 4 kids who are very active. I do not drive and between us we know nothing about cars. I have looked online but it is like a minefield.
We need a car which is very safe & strong (7 seater pref), has small to medium size engine (as i believe this keeps cost of insurance down?), we would also like a green car if possible, with stylish features. We are looking around the £6-7,000 mark with finiance option (around £300 inc insurance a month). The year could be anything over 2000, many thanks.

Try this site for ideas. Don't select any manufacturer or model, just click the advanced search box and tick MPV. They have 120 to compare. Might give you an idea and you can also enter low emissions etc to check how clean they are.

Welcome to the site cargunka, we had a Renault Scenic, which was a 7 seater, with 2 seats popping up from the floor in the boot.

It was a good car with plenty of space, and didn't cost a lot to run, worth a look, good luck
    ;)
