Hello everyone, I have recently received my provisional driving licence and after looking on google, I am a bit confused because I found out that the provisional driving licence lasts for 10 years but am I allowed to book and pass the theory test, let’s say, five years from now?

Not sure about provisional licences but full driving licences have to have the photo renewed every 10 years, just like passports as most of us look a bit different after 10 years. Are you sure you are not getting it confused with the photo renewal?
You can book and take your theory and/or practical test any time you like as long as you have a provisional licence. -
There's no limit to when you have to take the theory test. You can't book the practical test until you've passed the theory, and then you have two years in which to pass the practical before the theory expires.
