Are we discussing waste plastic being converted into fuel, or the merits of students obtaining help with their dissertations? I prefer to discuss the use of plastic to produce fuel.
As with Santa, most of our plastic goes into the recycling bag, although it seems there are certain types of plastic which do not meet the criteria for recyling.
Regarding the question of these products being suitable for conversion into fuel, in the case of motor vehicles 'without engine conversions', I would have my reservations. Also, does it refer to both petrol and diesel engines? I assume it would be used as a percentage addition to the conventional motor fuel. Would there be any disadvantages such as the possibility of an increase in the discharge of carcinogens into the atmosphere? The now known threat to health due to the presence of nitrous oxide in diesel exhausts, where the government of the day extolled diesel as being the more friendly, suggests to me that a more cautious approach is necessary in the further development of motor fuels, and the development of more effective scrubbers in the exhaust systems is a first priority that must be addressed.
