My daughter has just purchased an 06 plate Astra 1.6 Club.Acouple of nights ago I noticed some oil underneath the front of the car.Anyways I had a proper look and I found what seems to be a cap off an aerosol can stuck to the plate on the bottom of the gearbox!!It appears someone has used sealant/glue of somekind on the cap in a feeble attempt to stop a leak.My question is this do these boxes have a drain plug or not.Fortunately the car is still under a 3 month warranty and booked in to the garage on Tuesday.Thought I would ask this so I,m armed with the correct info when I go talk to the garage.Also roughly how much does one of these plates cost.Thankyou.
