    sat nav must have?

    yeah take it back to the shop and buy a map.
    sat navs will be great in about 5/6 years.
    i have took mine back and now use a map again,
    they are distracting,and most of the software is made of turnip.:D

    hi Jamie,

    Your have not said the make or model of the unit you have purchased, it may have helped in getting answers.

    I think you need to sort out the computer problem first.

    If your running windows 2000 or XP then when you insert the CD that came with the PC it should recognise the installation and then guide you though this.

    If this is not happening then;

    Insert the disk

    Click on start, then click on run, this should begin the installation.

    Then hopefully it will be a question of following the onscreen instructions.

    You should also read the instruction manual that came with the unit.

    Hope all goes well.
