Second-Hand Hyundai Coupe

Used Hyundai Coupe
If you're looking for an incredibly cost-effective car with a sporty exterior, look no further than a used Hyundai Coupe. First launching in the UK during 1996, the Hyundai Coupe has had two generations, with the 2002 model coming out on top. It's curvy features result in a dashing exterior, while the later models have an engine to match. To put it simply, if you're in the market for an affordable sports car, then you're in the right place.

What You Get
Early models are visually impressive, but visibility is restricted within the interior. Standard trim options are still great, while the F2 special edition has a larger exterior, though it is quite rare. We'd recommend going for a vehicle post-2002, as the dull interiors were traded for Audi-inspired, futuristic instruments. It's not quite as spacious in the rear, but the boot more than makes up for that.

How it Drives
This car grips corners with relish and manages 0-60mph in 8.6 seconds. If you want a car with an exhaust to make the world tremble, choose the 2.7 V6 of the second generation model. If you floor this model, you'll get to 60mph in 8.2 seconds, with the possibility of a six-speed gearbox. That's not to say that the 2.0-litre engine is worse, as it's still a fun drive with bags of potential.
