New Nissan Pulsar

New Nissan Pulsar

Description

New Nissan Pulsar

The Nissan Pulsar excels with its smooth drive, ample space and comfort. Default equipment is good, with a range of technology that makes journeys easy to manage.

Appearance

Designed with plenty of curves and subtle accents that strike as a reminder of the more imposing Qashqai, the new Nissan Pulsar strikes a good balance between classic and modern via understated elegance. The cabin is more spacious than what the majority of its rivals have to offer, whilst the wide windows and higher seats provide great visibility. Quiet and full of light, the interior is comfortable, relaxing and well-built, complementing the exterior beautifully.

Performance

The original engine range includes a 1.2-litre DIG-T 115 petrol with 114bhp and a 1.5-litre dCi 110 diesel with 108bhp, but a more powerful engine has been introduced in 2015. With an output of 187bhp, the new 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol can complete a 0-62mph sprint in 7.7 seconds. Comfort is placed high on the priority list, and the new Pulsar offers a smooth and relaxing driving experience, with accurate steering, agility in corners, minimal body roll and plenty of grip. It can handle both city streets and motorways with ease. Four trims are available, named in typical Nissan fashion Visia, Acenta, N-Tec and Tekna. The standard features are extensive and impressive at the same time. The entry-level model comes with air-conditioning, Bluetooth, 16-inch alloy wheels, five-inch colour display, all-round electric windows and cruise control, amongst others. At the top-of-the-range, Tekna adds luxurious leather upholstery and heated front seats, along with more safety features.

Safety & Economy

In terms of running costs, the 1.5-litre diesel will emit under 100g/km of CO2, exempting the car from annual road tax, and will return a claimed 78.5mpg. Safety features vary depending on the chosen trim, but ISOFIX child-seat mounting points, six airbags, ABS and traction control are standard. The car also comes with a maximum rating of five stars from Euro NCAP.

Conclusion

Perfect for Business Owners & Small Families The high comfort levels whilst driving on longer journeys combined with fuel efficiency and low CO2 emissions make the Pulsar very suitable as a company car. It will also appeal to those looking for a compact and safe family vehicle.
