so I am 17 years old right now I have been working with a garage since 14 so know my way around a car and I am en route to getting my level 2 vehicle maintenance and repair qualification this summer time by which I will be 18 I also hold my driving licence so I am wondering if I would be able to get a job with RAC once I get that as it is a dream for me
any advice will be appreciated

Congrats in advance for achieving your level 2 qualification, it sounds like you're smashing it.

The best advice that I can offer is to keep an eye on our careers site. Once you're ready to apply, send an application in and fingers crossed you'll be successful.

I worked on cars for a total of over 40 years as both a hobby and a profession. Ten of those years were with the AA as a Patrol. The most difficult aspect of being an AA Patrol was learning that most breakdowns were caused by the simple things. Relays burnt out, fuses blown and multiplugs corroded by water ingress, and my favourite - owners who 'fiddled'.
