    Lightbulb Engine management light will not go out,tried resetting doesn't work.

    2004 Reault megane 1.6 VVT (Petrol)
    I have tried restting the service mileage but it is still on.Would the EGR valve cause the light to stay on?

    You won't be able to just turn the light off. You need to find and fix the fault first. You need a compatible diagnostic tool to read the codes. Then you'll have something to point you in the right direction.

    Do you mean the word 'SERV' or is it the word 'service' in the display? If it is 'SERV that is the engine management light. If it is 'service' then you are not following the correct procedure.
