Important information regarding electronic device luggage restrictions

Due to air travel restrictions on selected routes to the UK, phones, laptops, tablets and e-readers are banned from being taken on inbound direct flights from Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. Devices larger than 16cm long, 9.3cm wide and 1.5cm in depth will not be allowed in the cabin on selected flights to the UK from the countries affected and will have to be checked in as hold luggage.

These restrictions also apply to other devices - including keyboards, power supplies and transformers, and external drives – if they are larger than the measurements above, even if you bought them at the airport.

Passengers should check online with Gov.uk or their airline for more details on hand luggage restrictions.
