Default Who offers the best value Oil & Filter Change?

Im looking to get a quick oil and filter change on my car so was wondering where offers the best value for money.

Ive had a look on Kwik Fits web site which doesnt give a price but they check various other things aswell as the oil & filter.

National Tyres have various options for different oil types and they also include an engine flush aswell.

Has anyone used these services at the above places or at any other big name garages and which one would you recommend.

Do they do the change whilst you wait aswell?

Ive got a 53 reg 1.4 Fiesta Zetec.

    Help much appreciated.

Firstly, why would you want to do an oil change? Presumably you have the car serviced regularly say annually or every 12,000 miles? In which case there is no need for one as the oil specified is used in some makes for 20,000 miles or 2 years.
There is only one type of oil recommended for your car and that is 5/30 grade. Do not be tempted to use any other, Ford only use this oil in their whole range.
This type of oil already contains detergents to keep your engine clean so why, in this day and age, someone is still offering an engine flush is beyond me. Probably just an excuse to extract some more cash with the risk of damage to your engine.
So long as they are not busy, Kwik-Fit will do your oil change while you wait.
What about a local garage on a recommendation?
