Thread: Pls help with new car purchased on 25/6/14 from a trader.

    You may possibly be wrong that it is the starter motor. Could possibly be the battery for one possibility.

    Yes it may not be the starter motor, it may be a solenoid, it could be anything.
    Point is the vehicle recovery he wants us to organise and pay for to get the car back to his garage, then what ever part the problem is, after lengthy msging he decided to drive to me to see if it was a quick fix, a fuse or something then he said he thinks it's the starter motor and I need to bring the car to him at our expense, we had the car 8 days from buying to broken, in that 8 days we had to return the car twice to him leaving over night to fix other problems, some he has, the IMO dangerous steering issue he hasn't.
