    Unhappy peugeot 206 oil leak

I recently bought a used peugeot 206 (1.9 diesel) while has just passed its MOT.

It has been parked up for a week. I have just drove it today and noticed as i have drove out of the driveway it has left a trail of oil.

It doesnt look as if it has been leaking whilst it has been parked up. Is it anything to worry about ?

If oil is leaking noticably from your car (or almost any other fluid for that matter) it is something that needs sorting quickly.

When the engine is running, the oil is under pressure, which means that if there is a slight leak somewhere, the oil is only forced out whilst under pressure (i.e. whilst the engine is running). If the oil was changed when you had the MOT done, it could be that the garage didn't replace the sump plug gasket (?).
