An addition to the Porsche 911 range, with a top speed of 195mph and a four-wheel drive, is to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The 911 Turbo S will reach 62mph in just 3.3 seconds. Despite its capabilities, the new model does not use any more fuel than the Porsche 911 Turbo, making it the most efficient sports car in its performance class, said the German sports car manufacturer.
It boasts an extra 30bhp from the twin-turbocharged, six-cylinder, horizontally-opposed engine, boosting power to 530bhp.
"The engineers at Porsche, Stuttgart, have developed a new top-of-the-range sports car for the customer who will only settle for the very best in terms of power, performance and driving dynamics," said the company.
Ceramic Composite Brakes, 19-inch wheels in RS Spyder design with a central locking nut, a three-spoke sports steering wheel with gearshift paddles, adaptive sports seats, cruise control, a CD and DVD changer and exclusive twin-tone leather upholstery in Black and Crema or Black and Titanium Blue will all be standard equipment on the new 911 Turbo S, the first such model from Porsche in five years.
