New Kuga promises to be good sport

Ford has sold more than 7,500 Kuga SUVs in the UK so far this year and is hoping for a further sales boost with its new Kuga Titanium X Sport series.

More than four in fiveKuga owners are driving the high specification Titanium or Titanium X versions and 85% of them have chosen the optional appearance pack, while 40% went for the convenience pack with Active Park Assist and power folding door mirrors. A quarter of owners are able to kick open the back of the Kuga with the hands-free power tailgate.

The sales success and high-spec interest has led Ford to introduce the Kuga Titanium X Sport. Ford Britain's managing director Mark Ovenden says the latest Kuga is just as fuel-efficient, hi-tech and capable as the other models, but gives drivers much more.

Its sports styling adds body coloured wheel arches and front rear and side skirts, a big spoiler, glossy rear diffuser and black bumper detailing, front silver skid plate, 19-in alloys, chrome roof rails and rear windows with privacy glass.

Priced from £28,345, orders for the first Kuga Titanium X Sports models are being taken now.
