Jeep shows Movember support with new accessory
Don’t be too surprised if you see a car that looks like Tom Selleck this November. In support of this year’s Movember, Jeep has released a new accessory for its models; an on-car moustache.

The motor moustache costs $49.99 (around £40), with proceeds going straight to the Movember Foundation, the annual cause that encourages men to grow out their own facial hair to raise awareness of cancer.

The moustache is only available from Jeep’s American accessories site, which has provided some handy information about this month’s must-have car accessory.

The site says that not only does the ‘stash attach easily to your Jeep’s grille, it’s also water resistant, and so it’s perfect for the ever-changing British winter weather. However, Jeep has also stated that the moustache should not be fitted when vehicles will be driving over 40mph.

Jeep’s Mike Manly said:”If you just want to show your support to the foundation, you can get your own tailored moustache for your Jeep vehicle.”

Movember began in 2003 when two friends in Melbourne, Australia, found 30 people to ‘take up the challenge’ and grow out their facial hair. Since then, the number of ‘Mo Bros and Sistas’ has grown substantially, with over 5 million people taking part in the annual, month-long event over the past 13 years.

The Movember Foundation has now raised £443 million, to help raise awareness and fight cancer around the world.

And now, Jeep has provided a unique way for their fans to show their support. You can find out more about the work of the Movember Foundation here.
