Hyundai has been presented with an award recognising the best car manufacturers.
The award was judged by consumer group Which? after a survey in which owners of rival brands like Toyota, Skoda, BMW and Mazda also participated.
Hyundai won 84% of the votes in the satisfaction survey and 82% in the reliability survey.
Owners also gave the thumbs up to Hyundai's five-year unlimited warranty scheme and its competitive prices.
The models i20 and i30 won the 'best buy' status in the survey.
The award was presented at the annual ceremony of Which? in London.
"To win a Which? award, not only must a company offer outstanding products or services, it must also deliver exceptional value and a great customer experience. This is especially important at a time when consumers are really feeling the pinch," Which? chief executive Peter Vicary-Smith said.
Which?, the largest consumer advocacy group in the UK, functions independently with the aim of providing the best possible product guidance to its consumers.
