Datsun car set to make a comeback

The Datsun car is being reintroduced by Nissan but only in certain countries.

The Japanese car firm said the new version of the model will be ready by 2014, leaving plenty of time for people to check out which is the best car insurance .

Nissan Motor Company boss Carlos Ghosn said the Datsun is not being sold everywhere. Only the countries with the highest expected sales of "affordable stylish vehicles" will be involved.

He says the firm has no plans to sell the Datsun in Western countries.

India, Indonesia and Russia will be the initial target markets, Mr Ghosn told reporters at Nissan headquarters in Yokohama city in Japan, but he gave no further details.

Future potential markets are China, Mexico and Brazil which are all included in the firm's "high-growth strategy".
