Citroen plans to arrive at the 2012 Commercial Vehicles show in Birmingham with an impressive line-up of new engines and technology.
The car manufacturer said the event has always been a great platform for it to promote its light commercial vehicles (LCV) and the company intends to take full advantage of it next year as well.
Featuring in the Citroen line-up will be its range of brand new Euro 5 engines.
LCVs equipped with the engines promise greater fuel economy along with reduced carbon emissions.
Some of the Euro 5 engines under development feature automated manual gearboxes and torque-converter automatic transmission. Select models will also have fuel-saving stop/start systems.
"With major developments in hand for virtually all models in our advanced LCV range, we expect the 2012 CV Show to be more important than ever for us," said Scott Michael, commercial vehicle operations manager for Citroen.
"Citroen's comprehensive 2012 LCV development programme will result in a range of vehicles that will provide significantly improved operational benefits for our business customers."
Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre (NEC) will host the commercial vehicles show from April 24-26 next year.
