Pop heartthrob Justin Bieber has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and drag racing, according to police in Florida.
Miami Beach Police Department tweeted that the 19-year-old star had been arrested for drag racing in Miami Beach on Thursday. A judge has set Bieber's bail at 2,500 US dollars (£1,504) after he appeared in court following the arrest.
The troubled teenage pop singer appeared via video link on charges of drag racing, driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
Just last week police searched Bieber's home looking for evidence that he was involved in egg-tossing vandalism that caused damage to a neighbour's home costing thousands of dollars.
A member of his entourage was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs.
Bieber has also been spotted in various nightclubs and at a skate park in Florida this week. There are images of him skating and spraying his initials on a wall at the park on his Instagram site.
