Two British teams have been recognised at an awards ceremony that celebrates European projects which help young people to boost their career prospects in the automotive industry.
The 2014 Hyundai Motor Europe Skills for the Future competition hailed the success of Magneat and Fun Learning 4U - the two winners of Hyundai UK's Best Business Enterprise award.
Both teams were placed in the top five of the European competition, with Magneat finishing second in the overall final.
Magneat, based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, produced a dashboard tidy for cars that improves road safety by securely holding possessions like mobile phones or wallets in place on the car's fascia, reducing driver distraction.
Fun Learning 4U, which is also based in High Wycombe, designed a game aimed at teaching young children about road safety.
Both projects said they benefited from travelling to Hyundai's European headquarters in Germany for the awards, where they were able to meet fellow finalists and share ideas.
