Traffic lights and roundabouts

What is the “rule” when using a roundabout with traffic lights that are out of order? Do you revert to using the roundabout as if there were no traffic lights or do you stop at every traffic light around the roundabout? I hope this makes sense, I’m not sure how to phrase this correctly. Thanks!

The only rule is to proceed with extreme caution. You have no way of knowing how others will behave, so you need to be sure what they will do.

Santa is right. Obey normal roundabout rules, but don't assume that the others will!
What you certainly don't do is "stop at every traffic light". Logically (and legally) if no red or amber light is showing then you do not need to stop at the associated stop line. -
The worst case I have met in the past is when traffic lights have 'stuck', leaving one of the crossroads at green and the other at stop. It's some time now since I met this situation - is that because lights are more reliable and/or some provision exists to shut them all off in the event of a failure?

As far as I am aware, the computer controlled lights have a maximum 'on' time set within the software.
If this times out, and a system check does not return a 'fault' report the next light sequence is given a go (the next road in the junction).
If there is a 'fault' reported the control centre is notified, and depending on the fault, the system shuts down.
