New Volkswagen Sharan

New Volkswagen Sharan

Description

New Volkswagen Sharan

The Sharan is especially useful for large families, with seven seats and practical features throughout

Appearance

The Volkswagen Sharan’s features include smooth curves that soften the effect of its imposing size. Despite its seven-seater build, the car is agile enough to handle city streets with assurance. Both the interior and exterior are designed with practicality in mind, with high-quality materials present around the cabin. Comfortable and spacious, the car has the familiarity of the Golf and Polo, adding enough personality to stand proudly on its own.

Performance

All four engines are more than capable of providing both strength and fuel efficiency. The petrol range is lead by the 217bhp 2.0-litre TSI, with a 148bhp 1.4-litre also available. For those who travel more extensively all year round, the diesels are a better option as they are more frugal, but have more than enough muscle with outputs of 113bhp, 148bhp and 181bhp. Although it is a seven-seat MPV, the Sharan feels agile on the move despite its size. The optional DCC adaptive chassis control system offers three driving modes, Normal, Comfort and Sport. The three trims are well-equipped, with climate control, DAB radio, height-adjustable driver's seat, and electric windows as standard even in the entry-level S model. Luxury and practicality shoot up with the SE trim that comes with Bluetooth, chrome exterior trims, folding tables, rain-sensing wipers and cruise control, amongst others. The top-of-the-range SEL has a gorgeous panoramic sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels and heated sports seats with Alcantara leather upholstery. Numerous options are available for all trims, with multimedia and sat nav upgrades as well as extra safety features.

Safety & Economy

With an impressive list of standard safety features as well as a five-star NCAP crash rating, the new Sharan offers fantastic peace of mind. All trims come with ISOFIX child-seat mounting points, seven airbags, electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes and more. For those looking for more fuel-efficiency, the 113 and 148bhp diesels both return 56.5mpg.

Conclusion

Perfect for Families Seven seats, excellent safety credentials and standard equipment. All of these features make the new Volkswagen Sharan a good choice for families.
