COVID-19 - Latest service information from RAC Telematics
With all four UK nations now in lockdown, the RAC Connected Management Team wanted to let you know that having reviewed the latest government guidance we plan to continue operating at our normal, professional service levels.
While the current restrictions are similar to those first introduced in March last year, over the last nine months we have successfully developed new processes that have enabled us to deliver our service as safely as possible.
During the first lockdown we successfully migrated all support colleagues to remote working, so we don’t anticipate the latest restrictions having any impact on their work.
In the field, our engineers now have extensive experience of following Covid-secure working practices, but as individuals’ circumstances are subject to change we are stepping up communications to ensure everyone remains fully up to speed with the latest health and safety processes.
As much as anything, our ability to continue to offer good service levels is reliant on the amount of work that we receive, particularly in less populated areas. If you are able to provide us with any forecast information, it would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, we are of course reviewing all customer-facing communications to ensure everyone is kept informed of any changes we need to make to comply with government guidelines.
