Expired offer: save £50 on your AA renewal^

With RAC you should have saved at least £50 a year (or £4.16 a month). If after you've purchased you haven't saved this much, you will need to send us details of your AA cover and price within 14 days.

To send details of your AA cover and price, you can either email us at [email protected] or write to us at:

What proof you need to send:

  • For annual AA cover, a copy of your renewal quote from within the last 45 days
  • For monthly AA cover, a membership letter with the price you were paying or a document showing your AA monthly price from within the last 60 days
  • Full name
  • Home address
  • Email address
  • Vehicle registration (if you had vehicle based cover)
  • Your new RAC policy number
  • If you had any additional vehicles or people on your AA cover please include those details

If you’ve not saved £50 on your AA price, we’ll then either refund you the difference in 30 working days (if you’ve bought annual RAC cover) or reduce your monthly payments (if you’ve chosen monthly cover).

The information you send us will only be used to validate your claim.

  • Offer only applies to policies purchased via www.rac.co.uk. Offer ends 1st June 2021, 7am.
  • Saving applicable to closest equivalent breakdown cover levels only. Comparison table for AA’s cover levels vs RAC’s closest equivalent cover levels can be found here.
  • AA’s standalone Roadside cover and RAC Tyre Replace, Battery Replace and Key Replace are excluded.
  • AA optional extras such as Garage Parts and Labour or Smart Cover will not be taken into account towards the £50 saving.
  • £50 saving applicable to annual customers. Equivalent monthly saving is £4.16 per month. For monthly policies you would achieve the full £50 saving if you were to remain an RAC customer for 12 months.
  • Saving applies to AA’s original renewal price or, for monthly customers, most recent price increase. AA price must have been given within the last 45 days.
How the offer works:

  • Purchase your RAC cover via www.rac.co.uk
  • If you are unable to achieve a £50 saving on annual policies or £4.16 saving on monthly policies when switching to RAC cover email [email protected] and provide the following information within 7 days of purchasing your RAC policy.
Annual Customers
  • Copy of your AA renewal quote which needs to be dated within the last 45 days.
  • Full name, home address, email address, vehicle registration (if you have purchased a vehicle based policy) & RAC policy number. This information needs to match the details you provided when purchasing your RAC cover.
  • The following details on your AA renewal quote; your full name, home address & vehicle registration details (if you have a vehicle based policy). If your cover level includes multiple vehicles or additional members, then the details of these would need to be provided.  These details must match your new RAC policy.
  • Eligible customers who have an annual policy will be refunded the difference onto their original payment card within 30 working days.
  • The information above will be solely used to validate your claim. No information will be kept.
Monthly Customers
  • A document showing your current monthly price and evidence that you have been an AA member for a minimum of 12 months.
  • The document which you submit to the RAC to confirm your AA policy needs to show your Full Name, Home address, Email address, Vehicle registration (if you have purchased a vehicle based policy). If your cover level includes multiple vehicles or additional members, then the details of these would need to be provided – This information needs to match the details you provided when purchasing your RAC cover. Your quote must also include your RAC policy number.
  • Eligible customers who have a monthly policy will have the difference refunded by amending the monthly price. The discounted price will be applied for as long as you keep your RAC policy up to a maximum of 12 continuous months.
  • The information above will be solely used to validate your claim. No information will be kept.
