  1. These terms and conditions apply to the Win an Ariel Atom (“the Promotion”) and entry to the Promotion is acceptance of these terms and conditions.  Therefore please read these carefully.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.
  3. The Promotion is only available to United Kingdom residents aged 21and over.
  4. All entrants must hold a valid UK driving licence.
  5. The promoter of this Promotion is RAC Motoring Services. Registered Office RAC House, Brockhurst Crescent, Bescot WS5 4AW. (“The Promoter”).
  6. The Promotion is not open to employees (or family members of employees) of the Promoter, its agencies, its group companies or anyone else connected with the Promotion.
  7. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
  8. By entering you are allowing “The Promoter” to contact you in regard to RAC products and services.
  9. To enter the Promotion, please answer the multiple choice question and complete all the mandatory information. You must supply a valid email address to enter. Entries without valid contact details will not be eligible to win.
  10. The closing date and time of the Promotion is 11:59pm on Saturday, 31 August 2013 (“the Closing Date”).  Entries received after the closing date will not be processed.
  11. The winner will be selected at random from all the correct answers (“the Winner”) on Monday, 02 September 2013.
  12. There shall only be one Winner.
  13. The Winner will receive a new Ariel Atom 3.5 (without RAC Livery) supplied by the Ariel Atom Motor Company Ltd under their terms and conditions of sale and supply available on www.arielmotor.co.uk and a five hundred pound cheque (£500) towards the purchase of a Car Insurance policy.  The Winner will be expected to pay any and all outstanding amounts, if applicable, above this amount. The Winner will also receive12 months RAC Rescue - UK Personal Based Breakdown cover (inclusive of cover levels Roadside, Recovery, At Home, and Onward Travel), and up to £100 on a RAC pre-paid Visa debit card. No cash alternative can be substituted. The Prize is subject to availability. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original Prize offered is not available.  
  14. The Winner will be notified by email by the Promoter within 7 days of the Closing Date for the Promotion and given details on how to claim their prize. To claim the prize the prize winner will need to undergo advanced driver training before they take ownership of the car. Delivery of the car could be after a period of 30 days but will be agreed with the winner along with a mutually agreed date for driver training. RAC will pay up to £50 towards travel costs to the driver training and one night’s accommodation on a room only basis at an RAC selected hotel if required.  RAC will book and pay for the accommodation.  Any accommodation extras including food and drink will not be paid for. If the Winner does not respond to such email from the Promoter within 14 days of the time of notification, then the Winner's Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner (and that winner will have to respond to the email sent to them by the Promoter within 14 days of that email being sent to them or else they will also forfeit their prize).
  15. The Promoter may ask the Winner to provide proof of age and/or country of residence.
  16. The Winner agrees to take part in post-Promotion activity.
  17. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.
  18. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize and that are not specifically included in the Prize.
  19. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
  20. Subject to the above, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting the Prize. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Promotion.
  21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
  22. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
  23. The decision of the Promoter is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence relating to its decision.
  24. The Promoter reserves the right to modify the Promotion at any time without prior notice.   
  25. The name of the Winner for the Promotion will be available upon request for 4 weeks after the Winner has been notified by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to; Win An Ariel Atom Competition, c/o RAC Sponsorship, RAC Supercentre, Great Park Road, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32 4QN. The Winner agrees to have their name and county disclosed for this purpose.
