EHIC form - claim free health care in Europe
If you are a UK resident you are entitled to free, or reduced cost, state provided health care when visiting most countries in Europe. However to be covered you will need a European Health Insurance Card.

The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) entitles UK residents who are traveling abroad to reduced cost, or sometimes free, medical treatment in a number of European counties. It replaces the old E111 form which is no longer valid.
